Went to Starbucks - I know, I’m not supposed to but I had a gift card - barista makes my drink. Dude is not smiling at all. I very seriously tell him that I asked for extra love in my coffee, is it in there? He tells me it has extra extra but if it’s too much he can take some out. Then he smiles.
Fraud is fraud. People of all races, color, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc. commit fraud.
Some people suck more than others. I don’t have an issue with investigating and prosecuting when fraud is found.

Recently an “enlightened” man basically insulted me because I expressed safety concerns when discussing going to an unfamiliar location after dark. “It’s only five o’clock”. Yeah, dipshit. It’s fully dark which means opportunity is greater than during full daylight.

The expiration of temporary subsidies isn’t the real problem. I feel for every person who’s living on a fixed income & seeing five years’ of premium increases hit all at once.
I’m not opposed to an extension or even a new subsidy at a slightly lower rate.

Went to a community meal at a local church. Most of the food was gleaned from local grocery stores rather than thrown out, desserts were day old from local bakeries.
Good food, good company.
