So if we support Ukraine for another year or so, chances are Russia will basically go bankrupt. I hope it will be the end of Putin, and it will certainly be the end of the war effort, that got started when Putin mistakenly thought annexing Ukraine would be easy.

The most hopeful news is the banking crisis. Problem loans (overdue or restructured) are ~10 trillion roubles: 24% of the federal budget.
