Laffer's supply-side economics lacked credibility from the start. It was a strategy to justify tax breaks for corporations and the wealthy, promising economic growth that never materialized. In a consumer-driven economy, boosting the middle class's income is what truly fuels growth.

I try not to criticize anybody who broadcasts live -- there's a reason I don't do it -- but of course there never was any such thing as an "EV Mandate."
