entirely depends on where you're at, what you want, and what kind of instructors you book

For me, I wanna play my tracks in clubs & festivals, and I'm hiring out mentors & instructors to help me get there. If I was like deeply interested in other aspects of music I'd not be spending $$ wisely

I have addictive tendencies arounds games, so I've had to cut back while not like starving my brain of things it likes to do; I love games and there isn't anything wrong with that!

But I need to make time for other hobbies too

as a person in your boat

a) sometimes u can't just go-go-go u aren't a machine
b) sometimes doing a predictable mindless thing in a game is nourishing in its own way

c) if gaming is stealing ur "other things" time, then consider time limits or other ways to allocate time to your liking
