West Valley Highway just north of Main Street is closed. We are assessing the situation and working on an ETA for reopening.

Please AVOID the area and do NOT drive around road closed signs.

Green River Rd SE (100th Ave SE to city limits), D St NE (multiple segments), and S 277th St (Auburn Way N to 108th Ave SE in Kent) are all closed due to flooding. Use alternate routes and never drive through standing water. Updates: auburnwa.gov/flood

We are also seeing flooding along Green River Road north of the city limits, just past the golf course.

This is developing and are working with King County on road closures and detours.

Please AVOID the area. Never drive through flooded roads.

Isaac Evans Park is currently closed until further notice due to flooding along the Green River.

Auburn is monitoring rising river levels as heavy rain continues. Minor flooding is possible Thursday along the south side of the White River near the A St. Bridge. Avoid flooded areas & report issues via SeeClickFix.

Multiple trees are down on Mountain View Dr., including some on PSE lines. The road is closed with no ETA for reopening. Please avoid the area.

Stewart Road Bridge (Sumner): Overnight closures are planned Oct. 9–10 from 8 p.m.–6 a.m., which could affect morning commutes if you're headed north to Auburn. We’ve requested changes to lessen the impact.

SR 410: The White River Bridge remains fully closed. WSDOT had hoped to reopen one lane by late September, but that has not happened. Repairs are about one-third complete and could extend into November. A lengthy detour is in place. (Most recent update here: x.com/wsdot_traffi...)

SR 167: After bridge damage last week, repairs will take months, not weeks. Only one northbound lane is open for now. WSDOT is exploring a temporary fix that may allow one more lane to open. Expect ongoing heavy delays.
