What's to judge? Everybody has their thing and IMO it's fun learning about them. I hate peeling potato so either scrub them clean or cook w/skins on. I never remember to rinse rice. A friend gags if she has to touch a wet tea bag: she's Welsh, so that's almost a disability.

Beef has become ridiculously expensive. The store in town has chuck shoulder for $10.99/lb. That is a princely price for pot roast.
