"you can't steal a design" (as in a character design is not something that can be stolen and any attempt to do so is at worst simply inspired by the original and taking inspiration isn't illegal so it's perfectly fine) is a weird opinion to be so widespread in the places i keep seeing it

what sucks about being in the middle of a complete rebrand is that i see mutuals of [old username] everywhere but telling them all that i'm also on here(+everywhere else) in a convinient way (like a post with links) is exactly what i *don't* want to do!! what the fuck!!!
