Since I posted this I started learning a new DAW, bought two portable synths and a new delay pedal. Safe to say I'm back at it.

Since I'm getting back into music production, I decided to pickup a new DAW and start learning Ableton. My background is primarily in Pro Tools and Logic, so it's gonna be interesting to how different it is compared to those.

I’ve taken a long big break from it but I think 2026 is the year I’m gonna dive back into music production.

I picked up an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning records about a week ago and my god has it been a game changer. It's cleaned 50+ year old records I have and has made them sound brand new.

Started a Wong Kar-wai deep dive earlier this week and I started with Chungking Express on Saturday and it’s been stuck in my head ever since. I also watched Fallen Angels and In The Mood for Love and they were great, amazing even but they didn’t hit the same as Chungking Express for me.

I finally get to join the cool kids 😄
