I found myself earlier today wondering where they were and did not have the time to check. May they live long and prosper.

No. The forecast is for the frozen precipitation to start tonight. Looking at their online map, looks like they are staying in a private home tonight. Hopefully they can shelter and rest tomorrow, dnf if necessary, Monday

We'll have to see if the Gov. and/or General Assembly try to do something when the Legislature convenes in January. I haven't heard any rumblings in that direction. GA is more purple than its neighbors. We have a former GOP Lt. Gov. (Duncan) running for Gov. as a Democrat.

I've posted before: Blue shifts in 157 of 159 Georgia counties, compared to the 2024 Presidential ballot. 22 counties flipped to blue.

I finally was able to get the Georgia Secretary of State data into a spreadsheet and compared the 2024 Presidential race to Echols' 2025 PSC race. 157 of 159 counties had a"blue shift" even if the GOP incumbent Echols won the county. 22 counties flipped to Democratic for this race.

Brought me back to the Hitchhikers' Guide and Arthur Dent trying to get tea:
“So that’s it, is it?” said the Nutro-Matic when he had finished.
“Yes,” said Arthur. “That is what I want."
“You want the taste of dried leaves boiled in water?”
...
“I’m going to need some help with this one.”

CompuServe (or as we all called it, Compu$erve / CI$) was my online home for many years. I wish Google allowed all numeric user IDs. I'd like to have "XXXXXX.YYYY[at]gmail.com" as homage to my CIS user ID.
