I got engaged today at a comics shop in Paris! Me and my friends made a short comic to ask my partner to propose, and he said yes!
Me and my partner Dante are reading the comic I made for him to propose to him. He's wearing a brown bomber jacket, and I am wearing a trenchcoat. In front of us are various comics in the store we got engaged in. A picture of me and my partner hugging after he said yes. We can see his black backpack with a few pins adorned on it, and a ring box in my hand. We are both very emotional. A photo of us showing off our rings. The proposal rings are simple golden bands. He has purple metallic nailpolish on, while I have none. A photo featuring the cover for the proposal comic. It is lying on a bed sheet with a flower pattern. The cover is me and my partner running to each other backed by a purple and pink sky. The cover is a reference to a scene from Final Fantasy 8, and we are dressed as characters from the game to match.

Varya is nervous about having a stranger at her dinner table, but she is trying her best to be polite!

Knight in the Woods has launched on Kickstarter! It's an 18+ sapphic Dark Romance fantasy comic, featuring a knight and fallen angel!

It's available on Kickstarter right now, the link is in my pinned post!

Fun fact, this, Felix the cat and The Little Fox are by the same Hungarian animation studio, Pannonia!

They did a mix of children's animation and more experimental works like Son of the White Mare.

One of my favorite pages from Skjól is when we show Dima breaking into a real-life museum in my hometown.

This isn't the only real-life location in it. Bus stations, churches, supermarkets, I wanted to show off what people in Iceland see every day.

I went to Siglufjörður Comics Fest this weekend! Despite being a town of about 1200, it used to be where most comics in Iceland were translated and printed during the 80s.

I had a great time, and can't wait to go again next year!

Skjól is gonna be the first, though definately not the last, spin-off of Gzhel Guardian. I really wanted to tell a story where the magical world in GG was inaccessible, and what losing that can do to someone.

I'm realizing more and more how expansive this universe is, and it's really exciting.!

The next page has the kid Leo saved excitedly ask him to "do it again." Leo muses that the kid's fine, and discards the cigarette. Behind him we can see where the oil came from: a giant monster, a train that looks like an insect, with legs all curled up running across the length of the train cars. A cover of Crema, a comic Atla edited, published by Dark Horse. The cover features two women about to lovingly kiss. Underneat them are coco beans that form a wreath-like frame around the idelic image. Underneath that wreath is a unknown man, dressed in a fur coat and a blue tie over a white shirt. He seems surrounded by coco beans. The cover of the comic Glass Scientists, published online and collected in print by Penguin Random House. The cover shows two characters, Doctor Jekyll and the mischevious Mr Hyde. The glass beaker Hyde is holding oozes a green mist, from which things like flowers and an owlbear can be seen. Behind them are mysterious figures in the London gaslight, as well as the institution that Jekyll works at. it seems covered in purple tentacles. Underneath all of this is a fine, thick mist.

This here is an old WW2 bunker built by the British shortly after they invaded Iceland.

It's in a forest about 5 minutes from my house, and I try to go there regularly to picnic and just exist for a second.

Been catsitting for my inlaws, and today we took Varya on her first ever leash training.

She was quite nervous, but was also very brave!
