The sheer difference between me drawing my OCs and me drawing someone else’s characters can be genuinely staggering. In the end I guess people prefer what’s familiar over what’s “new” and they like being “provided” something by a creator.

whenever i stop drawing it's either cause i'm preoccupied with life (can't be helped) or because i feel too inept as an artist.

when it happens, i have to come to terms with the fact that only through drawing more may i at least try to fix what i perceive as problematic in my technique/style
