First one really was quite Tatooine-like

God I love working in coffee shops in Bangkok. Such an amazing variety to explore.

Had a smattering of Tatooine and an urban jungle today.

Are you heading to the Thai Space Expo in Bangkok next week? Get in touch!

I'm a space journalist that will be covering the event, particularly the growing space industry in Southeast Asia, and I'm on the lookout for any interesting companies/stories.

Went to a tropical island this weekend about two hours from Bangkok. Was quite nice.

That's quite the headline

Hi Edwin, I go into detail on this in the article.

While exploring Bangkok's "green lung" (Bang Kachao) the other day I spotted a snake near us (not pictured but was near here).

Looked it up after and it was a banded krait, the most venomous snake in Thailand! Apparently they're quite docile, but didn't particularly want to find out...

My coffee shop office today in Bangkok. Apologies.

Possibly the best graph ever. You are more likely to die from an asteroid destroying Earth than a skydiving accident, being struck by lightning, or being trampled by an elephant.

Not a bad commute and office for the day in Bangkok

A few pics from Bangkok. Bit surreal that we live here now.

Hi editors - we have successfully relocated to Bangkok, and I am available for work again! If you have any space stories you need writing, or ideas you need exploring, do let me know. Cheers!

I’m in WIRED this month, chatting about supersonic planes.

What are you waiting for? Go and buy it!

Tbh if I was an alien I would probably send something like this. It will fly in or near most of the planets and is mostly in the flat plane of our Solar System. Good reconnaissance trajectory!

NASA's budget cuts might not be as bad as feared, but still cuts to various science areas. Unclear what missions, if any, would be shuttered yet.
