I always do nose first and then mouth because the mouth is objectively "dirtier" (more bacteria etc). Is there any reason (with respect to accuracy of tests) to prefer the order you said?

every time i call my mom she leads with how she or someone else is sick right now and like, ew i don't need to know? especially because i'm not supposed to say anything about it so why start the conversation like that. are we ignoring covid or not make up your mind.

Yeah. Thanks. We don't necessarily notice that it's problematic when it's on, but I worry it's damaged his lungs more over the years he's lived with it. Already a weak point for him.

Hmmm, well the one we have is at least several decades old. It's a large/tall wall unit where you can see the fire through a grate at the bottom. It does have a pipe at the top venting outside, but since the fire is visible/open air, there's no fan, and it's in the living room, I'm unconvinced!

I assume it's similar with a gas furnace. I have a close person with v problematic lungs, we are now trying to heat his house through Canadian winter with no furnace because we are afraid it is exacerbating.
