Moe just needs to suck up a little bit more to Trump. That should do it.

Did she solve the IT problem?
December 10, 2025 at 2:40 PM
Huh. So who is covering "the truth" at this event?
December 8, 2025 at 5:05 PM
In my experience people generally don't care. They look at the mill rate, complain about it no matter what the number, tell you to "find efficiencies" and make cuts... then follow up with complaints about the cuts they asked for.
December 8, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Did the good councillor actually ask for those cuts, or that the costs be included in the budget?

There's a lot of misinformation circulating.

Academics who do this are a disgrace to the profession. They aren't coerced in any way, yet still stand up for corporate power.

Helping people? Housing them? Reducing wait times and increasing support for voluntary treatment options? Now you're just being a communist.

To be honest, I don't know what purpose the RPC actually serves considering how recommendations are handled. It exists because the law says it must.
December 5, 2025 at 12:18 AM
That's correct. The Chair's role is to provide an objective account of the debate to Council, and a rationale for the RPC's decision. From there the Councillor/Chair can vote how they wish.

A very skilled arsonist, I might add. Almost professional.

Interesting. So 28% see the affordability crisis, housing crisis, growing inequality, and geo-political crises, and think, "hey, this is a great system"?

I think there's different ways to realize the multi-modal aspirations. I see on Dewdney they integrated the path into a much wider sidewalk. That can work, especially if the snow is cleared.

LinkedIn did you dirty.

And it's a shame, because Warehouse has tons of amenities, and is close to Downtown or Cathedral. Yet the journey itself is a deterrent.
December 3, 2025 at 10:12 PM
You know what they don't have? A safe way to bike or walk from anywhere south of the bridge. The sidewalk is literally an injury waiting to happen along Albert, and cycling is a gamble.

I remember the vision and the movie.

This bigger issue is the fact that this water would be perpetually sequestered underground. The trade off is that we were better off using effluent (and making $) than allowing them to drain aquifers outside of the City.

They didn't "lose an opportunity". They just didn't take part in an opportunity.

Sad trombone…

What's worse: not having the data (and Carr was cool with that) or not knowing that the data exists?

Both signal incompetence, which is on-brand for this particular Minister.
