Lol, recently I tried to install the package 'fuse' for an AppImage on Ubuntu. There was a conflict between fuse and fuse3. Along this process, I apparently deleted the gnome desktop env.
I could've gone to the grub menu for the root terminal but grub being bad for HiDPI, I ended up reinstalling 🙂
