Maybe it’s just me but when things go into real time and multi threading and distribution and persistence, it’s like juggling with chainsaws… what I want is something that’s as “simple” as C but with all that stuff just baked in

I wonder if LLMs are good at writing C code that doesn’t leak. They’ve got the whole Linux codebase to work from…

I found sometimes doing work without making a stream is a good thing to do because I can surf the internet while I wait for Claude Code to write some spaghetti for me

It would be interesting to brainstorm an AI system or mechanism that was ethical, ie fairy compensated those who wrote the code it trained on. Bearing in mind that at the present time, AI companies are losing gigantic amounts of money.
