How do you call your co-worker and boss? I keep seeing on TV that in the US it's surnames but no Mr/Ms, in Germany it's Herr/Frau surname, on some Spanish TV it's surname, on others it's first name... What's your real life experience?

In WSJ's Tech Things newsletter the "executive musical chair" further confirms that the AI 7 are too interconnected. They don't even hire someone that would bring something new to the table. It's dangerous because it puts them all on the same path, so if (when) one folds, all will follow.

I'm very glad that EU steps up and stops hyper-individualism, and extreme capitalism not just on paper but where it hurts most, with money. And on a side note, the Hungarian government's reaction is why I rather consider myself European, not Hungarian. They're shameful.
Transatlantic Tensions Surge After X Fine and Harsh New U.S. Security Strategy
While EU officials gave decidedly measured responses, other European voices called the Trump administration “dangerous” and “no longer an ally.”

I don't think accommodations understand the difference between pet-friendly and pet-tolerant.

(the cherry on top is that the price for the room is 49euros 👀)

By this morning I've had a full day rest, and I still have a full weekend to go. I have the energy to enjoy things like my macrame, my learning, my walks. 3-day weekends rock!!

I need a fitness watch that has walking exercises built in. Something like this but customisable. Does it exist? My Google skills didn't help this time.

Without warm currents from the South Atlantic, Iceland would be much icier and stormier. Now, those currents are at risk of collapse and the country is preparing for this “existential threat.”

Dear Microsoft,
It shouldn't come as a surprise that I schedule my emails for a time when I'm NOT planning to work. So keeping them on my laptop until I log in, and THEN sending them, is not much of a help now, is it?

As people say,"very interesting short story"
(it might not be. it's mundane. it's life)
I have this courier who insists on calling me instead of ringing my doorbell. I don't take phone calls but yesterday evening I answered.
"I was there earlier"
I believed her. I was in the office in the morning.

When I moved in with my first boyfriend, my aunt bought us a brand new fridge, top of the line. When we broke up, I took that fridge. When I bought an apartment, I took that fridge. When my mum had to move in, she inherited it.

I don't normally read Daily Mail but I've found this fascinating. A woman writes her childhood memoir about growing up on a boat where she felt lonely, miserable, neglected. Brother on the same boat felt it was amazing.

At least once a day I think about how lucky I am to be healthy despite never having put my body first, my dog is healthy despite eating crap from time to time on our walk, and my mum is relatively healthy despite her age, smoking and drinking. We might not be healthy forever but today is good.

My dog came up to my head in the middle of the night which is super rare.
"Poor thing, is it raining? Is there thunder?"
No.
She just wants to sleep on my pillow.
I think she won.
