I attended some panels that included Powell when he joined the BoG in 2012 (when I worked at the Fed). Like other Fed leaders, he's always measured, sharp, and even-keeled. He's been a professional hero of mine for a 12+ years. Hopefully even more people feel that way now.

Should be noted that DC's fans created the beer snake in February 2020 - over 3 years before the "Birmingham Stallions" had any of their 54 fans. (XFL 2020 absolutely ruled. It was a glorious 5 weeks.)

My anxiety has been at a ~6-year high the last few weeks. Getting up to Detroit this weekend will hopefully cure a bit of that. (Though I miss Belle Isle.)
