What's an upcycled tokens? I love repurposing cards, thin cardboard, and especially MTG packaging!
I'll cut the materials or cards up and glue/paint them into small mini tokens that fit on the bottom of deck boxes in the dice holding areas.

Bring back banding to Magic:The Gathering.
It's a good ability that makes combat more interesting. More cards need banding. I don't even care if it's all in an unset, I want to use Chatzuk and bring the band back together. There simply aren't enough useable cards with banding.

Also just getting the basics blocked out is often enough when I'm tired. It fills that need to paint without having to finish. I hope you get some energy back ❤️
