And the fourth episode was a crossover with @reddwarfpod.bsky.social as I was joined by Red Dwarf and Simon The Sorceror fan Ashley Day to talk about whiny British Teenagers in silly hats voiced by Chris Barrie!

Seoirse Dunbar from @adventgamepod.bsky.social and I talked about The Colonel's Bequest for episode 3, and surprised ourselves by how we figured it may have been way ahead of it's time in it's ambition...

After a gap of nearly two and a half years, the second episode of the podcast arrived in the now guest-led format of the show, very similar to how my show @pickadisc.bsky.social is structured. This time, @ianbuckley.bsky.social talked about the amazing "Gone Home"...

With a bunch of new followers -- here's a thread I'll be adding to with the games we've covered on the podcast so far!

First up, the only episode with the original premise of the show: @ajblack.bsky.social talks about The Secret of Monkey Island...

Over the past year, there's been some absolutely astounding games released. In my head there's a Super Smash Brothers Brawl going on between four games for my number 1 game of the year.

I resolve to try and use Bluesky more. Because why not. I used to like using The Old Microblogging place to ramble.

Anyway NEW EPISODES ARE COMING IN 2026! I'm have recordings booked. People interested in being guests. Gonna batch record as many eps I can before releasing more.

One day trip to @adventurex.bsky.social today! Managed to chat to Roses and Matt of Save Your Game, told a bunch of developers that I loved their games and also met up with my fellow members of the @adventgamepod.bsky.social team!

I also realised I don't use Bluesky enough.

In the latest edition of "Matt Attempts Game Develop-y Stuff" I create a new character that needs to also sit down. Definitely don't look at the botch job on the legs.

Just finished the Roottrees Are Dead. Really enjoyed this. Was quite difficult and had to consult the duck a few times (makes sense when you play the game) but overall a satifying experience.

A couple of days ago, I sat and played through Asterism by upcoming guest Claire Morwood (@shimmerglitch.bsky.social). A game that is more an interactive concept-album-music-video, as you traverse several mini interactive sections set to music.

TWO WEEKS TO GO (if you pretend I posted this yesterday when I was supposed to) until @shimmerglitch.bsky.social starts the return of the podcast in 2025 as she talks about @davekki.bsky.social's "Dark Nights With Poe & Munro"

#Pointnclickfriday (shut up it's not late because I didn't have time to post anything yesterday).

First time really doing anything game dev related with a game called "Feels Like Summer" which is set at a music festival Which combines my two great loves: live music and adventure games!

Finished The Will of Arthur Flabbington. Absolutely utterly loved this. I loved it's sense of humour. I loved the characterisation of both leads. The dialogue was great. The puzzles were challenging (had to consult a walkthrough a few times). I really liked it.
