Personally this step of the stained glass kinda makes me hungry, since the copper foil reminds me of the tin-foil covering fake coins made of chocolate (are they a thing in America too?).

I truly like the assessment of cats as 'autism creatures'.
One of my pet peeves has always been the meme of cats being cold overlords who treat 'their humans' as mere slaves, and the like. I found that to never correspond to reality, as cats tend to be very affectionate.
