As soon as Nintendo raised prices to 80 us i dropped them. I'm fine with indy games from here on out.

I'm the son in law, every year I get a pile of stuff from her family and she only gets money. 20 years we have been married, this will be our 12th year attending her family Christmas gathering, only gift cards for her. I've started holding back gifts for her just so she has something to open.

Yep, you should see my house on Halloween, we are a rest spot in town so everyone takes a break for a bit before heading back out. All my toys are fair game, 100 kids ransack my shelves. If they can't be enjoyed as toys I'm not interested.

I share very little of what I buy, the dozen likes or so have no bearing on what I get. But there have been items I got simply as a companion piece to something else. The pictures I take are because they made me happy.

I was like 8 and there was an ad for some 3d horror movie and I remember the ad said it was playing in "all" cinemas. And I told my dad I didn't want to go to the movies this weekend. My dad got to explain how movie roll outs worked and that our 1 screen theater wouldn't get it on release.
