On the web, users rarely compare every option. They act fast.

👉 Designers and developers: Don’t design for perfection. Design for satisficers.

Design can be a visual design, or an architectural design.

Every developer should know the Murphy’s Law by heart: if it can go wrong, it WILL go wrong, it’s just a matter of time. Never plan on “no one cares enough to do that” or “why would a user do that?” Code defensively without over engineering.

Accessibility isn’t about creating a a usable website for blind and deaf people. A home cook cooking with dirty hands trying to go back a few seconds on the video of the recipe he’s following while also trying so hard not to make his phone dirty is also a disabled user. #accessibility #a11y
