not for my face but ive had a lot of luck with sugar waxing. only have to do it 1x a month vs before when i was shaving id be prickly again in a day or 2. it also breaks down the hair follicles over time so now i grow in patchy. i hope you can find something that helps a bit, everyday has to be hard
