And Dunlap is at least as good as him vs LePage. Folks didn’t want to knock doors for Golden and were withholding their votes or ranking him behind a write-in.

It’s wild considering that Maine had the first woman elected to both the House and Senate and was the first or second state with two Senators.

Dunlap is more friendly and engaging than Golden. My husband, not a politico in any respect, observed that Golden first ran in 2018, he often looked like a deer in the headlights.

Why not? Dunlap was the head of the Sportsman’s Alliance and is
center-left. And LePage isn’t especially popular in ME-2. He got just over 50% vs Mills.
