Recently I’ve reached some lows I didn’t think possible due to my dependence on my projects. It’s given me a lot of perspective. It’s just best to keep a personal distance. I say this because I just see a lot of people make things too real to them. Just love yourself more than a character! ❤️

Cartoon characters are just cartoon characters. We take from them what we need and want, but characters are who they are. They have their own journeys. I think sometimes people forget the point of fiction. I’ve seen people let characters dictate their life, as have I. It’s not worth it.

I keep getting AI literary scam messages asking me if I want to promote a book I didn’t write, with a title I’d never use. I’m not sure what the scam is? Like, why spam me with offers of introducing me to audiences that don’t exist as the author of a book I didn’t write and that doesn’t exist?

feel like i should say i do NOT blame Luci for this. he’s a depressed, isolated man, reconnecting with his daughter is not a straightforward path, and he clearly struggles with feelings of inadequacy
