Important to note: Today's pictures of family reunions in China are staged propaganda. They include the families of 3 of the 40 returned Uyghur asylum seekers. There are no pictured reunions of the other 37. In almost all known cases, returned Uyghur asylum seekers vanish into China's penal system.
