Yeah. It's startling how old some of the jokes I heard growing up were. And how much of it boiled down to not going "these people persevered through crushing odds, stop being a dick about how they are rebuilding" or "hey asshole, consuming stuff outside the base takes rations from their mouths."

Like, it's super dated of course but still a fun read from the perspective of a bunch of Americans trying to rebutt the same bullshit you've talked about on here.
