#hobbystreak Day 1924: Painted the red sections with two layers of highlights. I think since it's one of the main orruks in the squad I want to push them a bit further, definitely want to add some chipping on the edges too

#hobbystreak Day 1923: tried some blending on the dark purple areas, not super satisfied with it yet. Not sure if I'll do more for now or if I'll just leave it and come back later. Think I need to figure out how exactly I want them to look first. Ideally they'd look somewhat glossy and smoky

#hobbystreak Day 1923: tried some blending on the dark purple areas, not super satisfied with it yet. Not sure if I'll do more for now or if I'll just leave it and come back later. Think I need to figure out how exactly I want them to look first. Ideally they'd look somewhat glossy and smoky
#hobbystreak Day 1922: highlighted all the purple armour, tried to get a soft blend on the dark purple shields and shoulder pads with some strong edge highlights. Might work on that more, it's fun and a nice challenge

#hobbystreak Day 1917: shaded the champion, nuln oil on the armour and leather, thinned down plague bearer flesh on the cloth (which I'm unsure about, might want to make it less intense in the next layer) and coelia greenshade on the skin

#hobbystreak Day 1913: painted the remaining cloth areas on the last 3 ardboyz. Just the red armour to touch up and the I should be good to shade and begin highlighting them. Then I'll fix up the remaining 6 colour wise and do similar

#hobbystreak Day 1912: left it a little late today so just a quick bit of repainting on one model. I like the paler cloth since these are meant to be orruks from Shyish and it feels somewhat similar to a death shroud. Might adjust slightly

#hobbystreak Day 1911: Finished painting, picked out the straps in four different colours. Think the top left is my favourite, bottom left and top right are okay too. Going to do the cloth and wrist wraps in a different colour too to differentiate the brown areas

#hobbystreak Day 1906: spent a good bit of time on these four, patching up the colours a bit, painting the purples and painting dark purple to mark the champion and standard bearer. Not sure if I'll keep the pale blue shield for the standard bearer

#hobbystreak Day 1905: Got the red armour painted for the last 4. Decided that it'll just be the champion and standard bearer that get a different coloured shield and shoulder pad, might do some other colours for them for basic materials like the leather too

#hobbystreak Day 1904: quick drybrushing on the armour on all of the ardboyz I shaded yesterday. There's a few spots where I'd like the armour to be darker in the recesses or more blended

#hobbystreak Day 1903: shaded three of the remaining ardboyz. Need to go in and pick out some extra bits and spots I missed. Can see the white spray paint very clearly at points, might use it more sparingly next time

#hobbystreak Day 1901: another two orruks given the scratched armour treatment with some drybrushing and highlighting. Much happier with them from this, not looking pristine makes them look much better
