also, on top of that: canada post is currently on strike again, and i’m not sure what’s going to happen there yet (just hoping the postal workers actually get a decent deal this time around 🫩). i’m looking into alternative shipping options at the moment, but still unsure atm.

the decision i’ve come to is that when i do reopen my art store, for my american customers, the prices will be updated to include the estimated cost of duties & processing fees on each item. everything will be noted & broken down in each listing’s info if you want to read those.

as of now, shipping to the USA is both much more costly and complicated than it used to be. also, nearly everything i make is going to be tariffed in some way, and the onus is now on me as the seller to collect & pay those fees in advance. no more sending stuff off, hoping to get lucky at customs.

at first i seriously contemplated cutting off shipping to the USA altogether to make things less stressful for myself, but instead i decided to research more options. most of my supporters are american, and i want to do right by you guys because i know you didn’t ask for this.
