The real money drain was when anime was on VHS, like around the Cowboy Bebop mid-to-late 90's era where one VHS tape only had maybe 2-4 episodes on them, and they were 24 to 29 bucks apiece... collecting an entire series was costly. Today one full series on bluray is just a little over that amount

It looks like they *did* unsuspend me eventually... I submitted an appeal but I doubt that's what did it though. I'm like 99% sure I was one of the people auto-banned for using Old Tweetdeck, but they appear to have reversed almost everyone suspended who also used it
