The Department of Homeland Security issued him a work permit, and he joined a union, working full time as a sheet metal apprentice.

Happy Transgender Day of Visibility!

Transgender people have existed for as long as humanity. The concept of two gendered, binary societies have a very short history compared to the long and rich history of cultures that celebrate multiple and fluid gender identities.
