It pains me when people like Farage being given a pass rather than being taken to task on their views.

Is rage baiting embedded so much in societal psyche that makes people drawn toward it? Is that what makes people "admire" Farage that they overlook that he is a major part of the problem?

There is no excuse for racism, it was not playground banter as Farage claims - it was pure bullying. Racism is always directed, not matter which way the racist is facing.

... and that is not me making an excuse for racism back then either. Racism suffered in the 60s, 70s, 80s has left scars which are still deep today.

There needs to be massive pushback against Farage's narrative about how he was only 11 / 12 and it being pointed out reports show he was an adult - 18 - at the time he was doing this.

He was 12 in 1976. He was 18 in 1982.

Whilst racism was rife in the 70s, Nazi-ism wasn't acceptable throughout.

Farage is pushing the "I was 11 / 12 at the time" narrative, despite the people coming forward are saying he was older than that, in a couple of cases they say he was 18.

He did this throughout his school years from 11-18. So why are people only discussing the "11 years old" thing only?

Truss and Caulfield have both mentioned they have become members of Reform - but is there actual membership or is it still an annual subscription with no voting rights?

Getting so tired of people doing and saying racist things, then acting all offended and feigning outrage when their racism is pointed out to them.

If your "concerns" are based on racist tropes, racist stereotypes, and misinformation, all fed to you by racists and bigots in racist social media posts and racist forums, then your concerns aren't "legitimate"....

Your "concerns" are racist.

When will they rename themselves from Reform to "Reformed Tories" (in the same sense as food items such as Reformed Chicken)?

I wonder if Kruger has the decency to step down at this stage and have a by-election.

They are expats only if they are in the country temporarily for work purposes and will return to their home country at some point. If they are there to stay permanently (whether to gain citizenship or not) then they are immigrants.

You should definitely give her the facts, regardless of whether it is in the framework or not. Having a better understanding of the cause and effect of various historical acts will give her a better understanding and allow her to challenge misconceptions in class.

What are the real answers to this?

Unfortunately my MP is Mark Francois and I would hesitate to have him anywhere near anything this important.

The members do have a say. Of the 3 members, Farage has the controlling vote with 60% shareholding membership. Tice has 33.3% of the vote and Azami less than 1%. So the three members do have a say, but Farage has the final say

He owns 9 of the 15 shares, Tice owns 5 and Azami owns 1. The £2 value you state is the nominal value and what they would legally required to pay toward company debts when it is wound up.

I know that, but by spreading the lies on their behalf you are also allowing others who do not care about Reform to believe the lie.
