Reference is so important for #gameart! It helps ground the viewer/player and connect them to the world they are entering. Professionals gather reference as a starting point all the time. If you are a student take the same approach!

Take time at the beginning of a #gameart portfolio project to build a strong foundation. Answer questions you will have later in the project. This will make the rest of the project go faster.
