I've been using AI to help with info about scrapping old PCs for precious metals. I had to correct it though because it was assuming that my main motive was big profits. This goes to show how the built-in biases of these systems are hugely problematic. I enjoy scrapping but AI failed to value joy.

Instagram is addictive and more sophisticated than ever. It silos its users and manipulates them. This is clear to me through my own carefully self observed use of it. The insightful content that I really want to see is held hostage and shown very sparsely only for the purpose of keeping me hooked.
