No need to be snide. I’m a serious person who in 2018 spent months in the sweltering Central Valley heat in the CA-10 knocking on thousands of doors to flip it. I know how to fight for what’s important. Can’t say the same for the Dem legislative leadership.

I didn't choose for those senators to sell us out. They did that for their cynical reasons, which boil down to cowardice. I don't go with that. Not much of a choice at all. We know where the road of collaboration & accommodation ends.

Oh, I'll never be a Republican for the same reasons: I won't caucus with cowards. I care a lot about the subsidies. I care a lot about representative government. Neither party offers that, so I'm politically homeless now.

I'm just not going to caucus with cowards. Simple as that. They saw their new voters on Tuesday & recoiled in horror. They prefer the regime's crimes to the needs of voters. No higher form of political math can change the fact of their cowardice last night.
