That's a guy I've turned around on as he's aged. Never disliked his acting, but as a cynical yoot I found the "I'm a serious artist who looks like a hunk" thing irritating and fake. But as he's gotten older (as have I), I've finally twigged that it was never an act. He's an earnest, interesting guy.

The moment he said "Gentlemen, we are not in Kansas anymore" in the second movie is when I said "Fuck these movies forever, first-draft-ass scripts"
