My ticket out of there two years ago, a comfortable train back to the Baltimore airport, just to say I rode the Acela.

Took my kid to his first Cubs game. It tied for fastest game of the season, but it was a W! Plus the Sandberg tribute was nice.

Great turnout for a Pride event in a rural Wisconsin city of 5,000! Love the drag show in the old-school park pavilion.

Visited my state representatives in Madison as a school board member to advocate for our schools! Also somehow ended up advocating for an anti-SLAPP law, which I totally blame @gregdoucette.bsky.social for.

Spent the morning at the local office putting together signs for @crawfordforwi.bsky.social! Tempting as it is to wallow, we need everyone's help to turn this around!

Got to see @chrisgrace.com as Scarlett Johansson today! Similar to how the Dropout version utilizes its medium, the live show folds in the audience and venue as participants in the show and its conflicts. Good stuff. (Also Chris clued me in to a local Blood on the Clocktower group, so I love that)

Finished my run of the EarthBound/Mother trilogy last night. Not sure which was harder, enduring EarthBound Beginnings on the Switch without the Easy Ring or processing Mother 3 with a pet death and *gestures at everything* in the background.
