like the chainsaw man movie, it only took a few words to pick up that reze('s VA) was singing in russian and then i could follow along just fine
but when i saw borat 2, i could *maybe* pick out a few cognates in the bulgarian but i still had *no* idea what was being said

i'm just curious, is all. not curious enough, though, to look for any of the countless times this exact thing has been talked about by people who actually wanted to explain it, in a medium actually meant for explaining things.
