Nah, people hunt deer with shotguns with slugs in the East. Lots of 20-30 yard shots, and you don’t want people firing a 30-06 in basically a neighborhood.

Never heard of Boulevard Drinks. (I’m more an Essex County Hot Dog guy.)
I do need to drop by White Manna again. Probably been a decade. Was one of my go to lunches when I worked in Hackensack in the late 90s.
Riviera Lounge was another go to. A burger & a beer for $5. Who cares it’s a bikini bar?

Something in the air today. I spent all day yesterday nauseous & vomiting (appears to be weird GERD). Went out and ran 7.5 miles at race pace this morning.
(And got rightly scolded by my wife for running after being so sick. But I listened to my body & it said it was better.)

Well, the one upside to being so nauseated I couldn’t stand for 18 hours is that I had one glorious day without knowing this.

Damn it! I had a great story about how I got into sailing because I crashed an after-party of a Jimmy Cliff concert hosted by a Bubba Junior (given name, his dad was Bubba, the Senior is implied) and he drunkenly invited me to his boat and I drunkenly accepted/hungoverly accomplished.

I refuse to take part in any Florida hunt, because Florida sucks infected monkey balls (sorry, truth hurts), but I’m all up for a NJ hunt. Hell, I can run/bike to South Orange so I can even get crunk doing it.
