Retired Canadian who lived in five different provinces. I have little patience for bigots and regressive people. Physicist/cosmologist with a keen interest for most scientific fields, as well as learning languages.
Le mieux est l'ennemi du bien -- Perfect is the enemy of the good.

We shouldn't need to strive for perfection. Increasing as much as reasonably feasible our production in Canada should be our first goal.

Thanks for the heads up; I blocked him too.

Sorry, I didn't know that the CBC wrote this. As for who is following me, I had a whole bunch who did when I joined a few lists early on but, as I post very rarely, I essentially don't see questionable reactions usually.

Why would tariffs added or removed in the US affect the price of coffee here in Canada?

??

This is about Nova Scotia: not everything is about Ontario.

Web page loading will not slow down because of an increase in AI-generated slop: fetching a webpage is something initiated by a user ("pull") and not something generated by a website ("push"). However, it will become more difficult to find and retrieve trustworthy content.

Let each of these states first implement health-care for all their citizens as a sign that they would fit within Canada!

PP, who can't get his security clearance, is afraid that someone will leak some damaging information about him and is preemptively attacking the RCMP.

I hope the CPC will vote to get Poilievre out of the way!

This article refers to a *provincial* policy, with the Nova Scotia NDP making a statement. It has nothing to do with the last federal election. In Nova Scotia, the provincial Liberals are definitely not working with the conservative party.

Senator Simons, assuming you agree with the idea, is there anything you could do to ban Fox News in Canada?

The fact that Parliament is prologued is irrelevant: Parliament never votes on individual purchases.

I would see an addition of an additional OUTGOING only lane to the BiHi being possibly a good thing. As is mentioned in the article, induced traffic is not something that is desirable.

It's not the kind of book I would read (not as relevant here in Canada) but I encourage you to continue mentioning it. Writing and publishing a well researched book is a huge accomplishment and you should be proud of it.

Bonehead decision by the conservatives. We're somewhat lucky though as they are nowhere near as bad as conservatives from other provinces.
