I discovered @nootziq.art the other day and they draw trolls so beautifully and their rendering was so gorgeous it made me to want to try and push my shading more towards proper rendering. Not...entirely sure I achieved that but I'm pretty proud of the attempt none the less.

I'm in the process of trying to write out Volume 3, while also drawing, inking, lettering, and editing Volume 2 of my graphic novel series. Honestly making sure each character has their own voice and doesn't fall into same-voice syndrome, plus backgrounds have been some of the hardest parts.

Because the only canon I can control is my own, since I swapped my worgen warlock's name to the one the mage used to have, I needed to recanonize this drawing with the correct worgen warlock. Look, I'm really proud of this pose and I have weird drawing fixation ticks. Now I can move on.

I dunno if it's burnout or just the frustration and stress of...*gestures to everthing*...but drawing anything beyond sketching feels like muddled soup so enjoy some more old art of some D&D characters.

Set #2, Evoker in visage form and Woofmage-turned-Wooflock. I finally caved and admitted that I needed to functionally change Sennika to a warlock from a mage and did some name swapping since Blizz won't allow class changes to existing characters.

Success! It is done! The irony here is I wasn't actually going to be able to play it until tonight but I wanted to listen to the soundtrack because if it's anything like Hollow Knight I will have it on repeat for a few years.

Alright the final final proofs have been sent to the printer for the little mini print run for Empire Night. These printed editions will be available at my table at Collectedcon in Chicago this July. At the same time, a digital option will go live on my website for those who can’t make it.

So yes it’s only a proof and there are some fixes that need to go in but holding a fully printed book of vol. 1 has made this whole graphic novel thing feel so much more real.
