More I play the more brilliant it is, genuinely I'd probably say it's my second favourite in the series behind 11 now, so so good

As the year is ending, here's my ranking of everything I played this year! (including stuff I replayed). Been a good year for games and still games I wanted to get around to (UFO 50, MGS Delta, Death Stranding 2) and probably won't because 2026 has too much I want to play already.

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I thought Octopath 2 was the perfection of the series' formula and one of my favourite games ever.
Turns out Octopath 0 perfected it further and is also becoming one of my favourite games ever, the deeper I go into it the more astounding the depth and quality of it all

Really looking forward to Pragamata, played the demo and I love the gameplay concept of doing puzzles mid fight, can imagine so many interesting ways it can be used. Plus the PC version seems incredibly well optimized, which is not always a given with RE Engiene

Need some time to ruminate on my feelings for Prime 4 overall had a great time, though in parts you can tell the troubled development and some ideas that don't quite work imo, but taken as a whole I really enjoyed it.

'Metroid' is funny as a franchise name as the whole second game is wiping them out, to the point where every game that takes place after either doesn't have them or contrives them being cloned.
Prime series is even funnier as does take place before Metroid 2, yet they still rarely feature Metroids
