Sincerely? Super Metroid. I was 6 years old and the silent screen after 'defeating' Mother Brain and the loud, blaring music as her new body erupts from the ground scared me so much I turned the game off and ran out of the room

I know this is a 9 month old comment but I can at least explain the K-On one. They see it as an example of what pure race culture would be like. Cute girls doing silly things, walking down the street, no crime, etc. It's obviously EXTREMELY wrong, but that's the rationale.

Yeah K-On is an instant crimson red flag for me. I just associate it with neo nazis at this point. I'm sure the actual anime is cute harmless nonsense (not in a bad way) but man has it been co-opted by the worst people on the planet.
