Often I show the triangles to derive and then we fill in a table like the image. Relies on strong surds.
Sin & cos: both have every value over 2.
Sin goes root 0, root 1, root 2, root 3, root 4 (all over 2) then simplify.
Cos in reverse.
Tan = sin/cos mrlyonsmaths.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/trig...

Teaching a gorgeous higher tier Year 10 group at the moment and today one of the girls came in and showed me the revision notes she’s been making at home between lessons 🤩

And yes, yes… it’s just Grade 1 theory. But 18 months ago I couldn’t read music, and hadn’t ever. Let alone played it.
So I’m gonna be proud. 😊

We’re staying near the University of Warsaw Library and it has these amazing panels with various topics embossed… I may or may not have gasped “oh my gosh, it’s Pi ” from afar 😂🤓
