He was originally designed for another project, but I ended up drawing him separately as a piece to try out a new coloring brush.

I did consider giving him a beard-like mane around his face, but since I’m already a wolf, that would kind of defeat the purpose of me drawing a dragon.

I really like the spines that extend from the head down to the back, and you’re right — if I go with that design, they would indeed grow along with him.

I kind of want to create a hairstyle that looks like spikes, but it’s fine to just treat it as normal hair, since this is just a simple concept anyway.
