I,too, am 46 and it was such a relief at UTSW. I lived in Dallas till 2 years ago and now am in Washington State.

I used to live in a red state and it was scary to deal with new medical people. I am now in a blue state and it is amazing the difference my wife and I get when talking to medical people. Also, doctors and nurses seem more open to talking EDs stuff.
