I think during the Las Vegas Grand Prix, The Sphere should be an eye that stares at the driver in the lead.
I think this would add a psychological element to the race. Can't handle the pressure of the eye of God looking at you? Seeing your every sin? Give up your position.

If I smile in pictures I look insincere and crazed at the same time. I was never taught how to smile in a normal way. Next time I see Bats I’m gonna emulate the exact way my mother taught me how to smile and she’s gonna look at me with a look of sincere pity and disheartened sympathy
