Feeling quiet and introspective on this holiday eve. I spent the afternoon potting up some #sarracenia seedlings I got off a guy on Facebook. Definitely getting back on a #carniverousplant kick. It's so interesting how they're just miniature versions of the mature plant. #nature #plants
A small clump of #sarracenia #seedlings. My nursery pot for my assorted mystery sarracenia. Some are green, some are red, some are both. They came from a guy that was a prolific hybrid breeder that passed away, and there was very little label indication on them.

Baby Tinsel for cute tax, and the way this poor kitten was found. My heart breaks for this poor little girl. Please share this. She is my kindred spirit with her little broken arm and I feel so deeply compelled to help her. Let's give Tinsel a chance at a happy, healthy, long life.

Most of my #photography is.. "dark" I guess. When I was in school people told me that my work didn't match my personality. I've always been attracted to fine details, little things that people don't normally stop to look at. Those details are so interesting, to me.

Birds have become my happy place, which is funny because until a few years ago I was intimidated of drawing them.
I've always been inspired by artists like @nambroth.bsky.social and other old-school Gryphons Guild folx, from the young age of like 14. Now, at almost 41, I can't believe I drew these.

I think I'm about finished with rendering on the tiger himself. Just a bit left to do on his back and lower torso, and then off to doing the pla ts around him and this one's in the books.

Haven't done a #tiger update in a while. I think I'm getting near the end of working on the tiger's form... Or, at least to a point that I want to do the back/foreground elements then get back around to the fur shading once he's more firmly in the scene. #art #wip #coloredpencil #nature #sciart

I took this in our driveway the morning Helene hit. The nearest creek is HUNDREDS of yards away and it's completely flat here. I still don't know where this water even came from. It was up to the seat of the picnic bench of the little reataraunt on the left.

Here are some photos of during and after, of my town. I don't know how we cleaned this mess up, but we did. They still haven't repaired the rail lines that run over the mountain, we haven't heard a train in one full year.

I've only been able to get about an hour of work done each day on this piece before the aches swing back in and take me to pain town. I am still healing steadily, though, and getting better every day.
