ARez - Developing a game 🚀
@arezdev.bsky.social
I work on an Expanse inspired space game in my free time. Right now, I am still early in development and just doing what feels good.
Feel free to ask questions!
Ahhh okay that makes sense. Thanks!

I hope the frame isn't too expensive. Anyone got a guess based on the specs?

What is a "port" in this case? You probably aren't referring to ports as in networking (HTTP Port 80). Port as in place where ships go can't be it either. Port as in software ported to another platform could be it, but I don't recognize any of the names...

What a great shot! Thanks for sharing :)

Thats a very reasonable thought. Not everything needs to be shared online 👍

But yeah I completely understand if you don't feel like posting them. All good 😅 Looking forward to your next basketball posts!

Yeah I know what you mean regarding the feeling.
But to your photos: The internet doesn't "need" anything. You could argue it doesn't need your or my gamedev posts, but we post them anyway. In your case I find your gamedev posts very interesting. I think just post whatever you feel like 😁👍

Hehe true!

Very cool :O Do you plan on posting that too? The R5 sounds good, but for me it's probably still too expensive. I want to do some more photography but I am missing the inspiration in the place that I live. So phone is still probably enough.

😅 And what body did you use?
November 10, 2025 at 8:56 PM
I wonder what would happen if someone at Intel or AMD leaked those highly classified documents. Maybe a new advancement in processing, maybe new competitors, maybe nothing, who knows...

Doesn't weird me out at all. But thats a really clear video! What setup did you use?

Looks sick though :D

I am hoping for more contextual pings (pinging horses, crows, saddles, posters, cash registers, dead bodies, alive hunters) and also more easily partying up with random teammates. Also server issues like desyncing and rubberbanding should be improved.
November 8, 2025 at 8:45 PM
Ah yeah I didn't know that. Makes sense then
November 7, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Ah yeah makes sense. Not sure what the current status of web exports is in 4.X rn

I wonder why they specifically decided to sponsor Godot? I'm sure they aren't making games there 😅
November 7, 2025 at 11:40 AM
3.6!? What are your reasons for staying so "low" on the version? Personally I just always build from master so I always have the latest & greatest features 😆 Although regressions do happen, if I find out which commit had them, I just build a version before that commit
November 7, 2025 at 11:39 AM
Ah lol I thought it would be more involved than that 😆
November 6, 2025 at 6:40 PM
Honestly, Proton works better than the native version for some games so as long as Proton works, it's literally just less work for the devs (ofc depending on the engine, Linux export might not even be a big deal)
November 6, 2025 at 6:22 PM
How did you solve the conflict?
November 6, 2025 at 6:20 PM
Even if its technically safe, I will not voluntarily give Google all that information
November 4, 2025 at 11:11 PM
Nice but too late for me. Already started Forza 5 😆
November 3, 2025 at 6:36 PM
Wow 😲
November 3, 2025 at 4:26 PM
